Star Wars: Rogue Squadron lets you play Luke Skywalker and fly a X-Wing fighter to take on the Galactic Empire in air-to-air dogfights and air-to-ground combat.
To save the Rebel Alliance from an Imperial onslaught, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles assembled Rogue Squadron, a group of 12 of the most highly-skilled, battle-tested starfighter pilots in the Alliance.

Your missions take place during the time period between "Star Wars: A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back". Wedge Antilles and other Rogue Squadron members are your wingmen on your missions, which range from rescue and reconnaissance, to search-and-destroy and more.

You’ll take on the Empire in air-to-air dogfights and air-to-ground combat over the far-flung planets of the Star Wars universe. As you improve your skills, you’ll be able to pilot more advanced craft, fire more powerful weapons, and fly more challenging missions.

For maximum fun and ease of use, it is recommended that you play with a joystick (although it is not required).


Limitations in downloadable version:
This demo lets you fly your X-Wing over Mos Eisley with Wedge Antilles. You find a squad of probe droids that must be destroyed. The full version lets you fly a variety of other Rebel craft as well.
